RRFSxx are units intended for securing electrical circuits of rolling stock with reverse reading of the state of the securing element, supplemented with universal inputs/outputs. The units communicate with the superior control system using the CANopen DS 401 protocol . RRFSxx are designed and certified for use on rolling stock and meet the requirements of ČSN EN 50155 (Electronic devices of railway vehicles) class TX.
The CAN connectors are daisy-chained (simplier wiring). The communication parameters of the CAN line are given by the software of the unit. The address of the unit is set by jumpers in the power connector (the so-called geographical configuration of the node ). This solution minimizes the error rate in the configuration of the unit during possible service and replacement. Connection connectors for signals are WAGO type X-COM.
