IP Audio System
The ACASYS AS IP audio system is the AMiT digital audio system for railway and rolling stock that provides all the essential requirements of vehicle audio communications to as:
- automatic acoustic announcements to passengers from a central information system
- the driver’s communication to passengers
- an intercom between the driver and the conductor/ train staff
- passenger emergency communication with the conductor and the driver
The IP audio system is a modular system whose final appearance depends on specific project requirements. The audio system consists of:
- UIC audio gateways
- IP intercoms
- IP handsets
- IP audio amplifiers
- IP audio digitizer
- Microphone units
- Loudspeakers
- another audio components
- Ethernet switches
Components forming part of the interior can be adjusted and adapted according to customer requirements to meet all the requirements of standards and rules. The core functionality of the audio system is autonomous. Integration with the passenger information system is independent of control systems. The overall function of the audio system is controlled by software in the vehicle control unit.
