Ethernet router

An Ethernet router is used to connect two Ethernet networks with the same parameters. A router is a necessary part of vehicles with an Ethernet backbone communication line if there is a requirement to connect such vehicles.

  • communication via TCN between the vehicles of the train set
  • address translation and frame transfer between ETB and ECN
  • 2x Ethernet ports in the function of a switch for ETB
  • 2x Ethernet port in router function for ECN
  • Ethernet interface 10 / 100 / 1000 Mbps
  • Ethernet connectors M12 (D-coding)
  • does not support Auto-MDIX – need to use crossover cables
  • construction according to ČSN EN 50155
  • firmware version according to project requirements
